Pump-fed irrigation can create symptoms that look deceptively simple. A weak rotor may look like a sprinkler-head problem. A zone that will not build pressure may look like a bad valve. A controller may appear to be the cause because the system will not run when commanded. On a pump-fed sprinkler system, however, the actual failure can begin much farther upstream.
